Housing Action is a Social Enterprise and registered Charity working to provide solutions to today’s ever increasing housing issues. Our core aims are to provide access to housing for individuals and families in housing need and to support them in maintaining a successful tenancy.

Our housing provision is based on securing properties from landlords within the private sector, in return for guarantee of the rent and assurance over issues such as damage and payment of rent through void periods. We then work closely with Local Authorities and other organisations to offer these properties to the most suitable potential tenants.

Housing is only part of what we do. We are currently working with individuals to improve their skills and work chances through our property maintenance division. Our CEO Jim Overbury is also highly regarded within the housing sector and is often part of Government housing and social enterprise consultation.
