Q. How long does it take to find me a property?
A. Initially you will need to register with us, you can do this online (link to form) or by calling 0845 257 0906. We will then contact you once we have a suitable property. We will then need to carry out an assessment interview with you, if you have not already completed a postal assessment.
Q. What do I need to do to qualify for a property?
A. You need to be in receipt of housing benefit or have an entitlement to housing benefit.
Q. Do I need a deposit?
A. deposit will be required in some circumstances, however in most it is not or can be funded by other agencies.
Q. Can you help me sort my benefits out?
A. Yes we can, we understand the benefit minefield and can help guide you through it.
Q. How long can I stay at the property you find me?
A. As long as you keep to the terms of your tenancy agreement we will continue to house you, we may from time to time need to find you another property in the same area, however we will always give you notification in advance and plan for any move with you.
Q. What if I have a pet?
A. Some of our properties allow pets, most don't however. All we ask is that you tell us at the time of your initially enquiry if you have a pet or not, we can then take your pet into consideration.
Q. What do I have to pay?
A. You may in some circumstances need to pay a deposit, you may also need to pay an amount over your benefit allowance if this does not cover the rent. You will also be liable for the full rent, if your benefits are stopped.
Q. Can I re-decorate the property?
A. With our and the landlords agreement, yes you can.
