Housing Action is a charity dedicated to finding people decent, safe and affordable homes. We have been working in the field of supported housing for over twenty years and pride ourselves at meeting the needs of tenant, landlords and local authorities.
We can't house everyone but do our best to give you the best advice and support. If we do find you a place to live, part of the deal is that you accept our support and supervision. We want you to thrive in your new home and will work with you to overcome problems or difficulties. We often work with other specialised support services in partnership and together we can help you overcome what seems impossible to you right now.
To start the process we ask you to give our registration line a ring 0845 257 0906 - it's a low cost number and only takes two minutes.
As soon as you have done that you will be registered with us. For us to consider you for one of our properties you will need to complete an application form, we will send you one of these within 48 hours of your call, along with a stamped addressed return envelope. Please fill this in as completely as possible and send it back to us.
You are not likely to hear from us until either we check you are still looking for somewhere to live or we have something that may be suitable to you. Don't worry - as soon as you have completed the first call to us and returned the application form you will be registered - we won't forget you.
When you move in, we will give you our tenant handbook and the mobile number of people on our team who will be helping you while you are with us. We are working towards offering all our tenants:
