Who Are We?

Housing Action is registered charity established in 1987 with the aim of supporting and housing both individuals and families most in need. Housing Action offers a link and supporting network for those most in need of housing and those with the ability to provide housing stock through the private sector.

For Landlords we offer a solution not available through high st letting agents. Our rent guarantee programme ensures that once the first tenancy is in place Housing Action guarantees the landlords rent for as long as they want to lease their property to us. Our oldest continual tenancy is now in it's twelfth year. With our additional associated services we are well placed to offer any potential landlord a one stop shop for their property portfolio. Those tenants we have already placed benefit from a minimum of monthly support and inspection visits to ensure they are in a position to maintain the tenancy and strive to achieve independent living. We assist them further by liaising with any associated agencies or departments they may be involved with.
